Regionals was a great experience, and a lot warmer than Districts even though that very morning we had another winter storm and woke up to snow on the ground! Regionals was different than Districts, the girls and guys warmed up together, but then girls and guys competed separately. The meet was held in Rockwall, and they had a hot tub next to the pool. This was awesome! I would go into the hot tub to keep warm. Out of all the schools there, I was the only Freshman. I did very well, and I placed 6th. This was a great first time Regionals as a Freshman, but I did not qualify for State Championships. The top two divers in guys and girls qualify for State. I did receive my varsity letter jacket!
